Signage of Reflex is a series of 8 eye-catching light boxes written Hide n' Suck. A combination with hand-drawn text, referencing to Chupa Chups as a symbol for calming purpose. While 'sucking' is one of eight primitive reflexes at birth, the artist explores this medium as a comforting aid in response to her sleeping disorder. With this series serving as a lighthouse that can be displayed in-situ, Ng reminds the viewers how social values dictate our everyday behavior. Is it a taboo or is it our mental barrier?
